Subject: [dirassat] seyyid nesimi, Turkish sufi poet, student of Hallaj, follower of Huroufi tariqah, skinned alive in Alepo by Memluks

Nesimi is not Alawi. In fact, he didn't differentiate between imam Ali and Abu Bakr. However, his poetry is popular among alawi , the same way the poetry of Rumi is popular in US. To add one more point. The Shia or alawi doctrine will never agree with halaj or Nesimi thought process. That's why the Shia participated in the killing of Hallaj.

Regards,Walid.
There is another nesimi "kul nesimi", a alawi/bektashi ottoman poet from 17th century.
Seyyid Imadeddin Nesim is a 14th century Turkish poet predating the ottoman period.
